Curiosity is in built among all of us. Curiosity to know the activities of fellow beings is one kind. Irrespective of the intentions, actions of a person to know about the activities of fellow beings without their knowledge is called spying. Following them, reading their notes or diaries or listening to them without their knowing about it were the major acts of spying prior to the advent of computers. Gone are the days of diaries, now people save most of their personal and confidential information on their computers. Similarly, the surfing and browsing people do on the net gives a very clear indication about their likes and dislikes and their mindset. To spy others' computers, you need a computer spy. None of us would like our computer to be spied about, yet some of us would, certainly, like to spy others' computers.
Whether spying others' computers is right or wrong is debatable. All parents would like to spy computers of their children with very obvious good intentions to see their children's mindset and prevent them from going astray. Spouses, in most case, would certainly like to spy computers of their counter part. Similarly, business partners would like to spy computers of their partners, particularly, when some sort of mistrust starts developing. Same holds true for the competitors and enemies at individual, societal, national and international level. On the other hand spying others' computers is considered morally wrong. It is a definite and dangerous intrusion into the privacy. Whether morally wrong or right, one thing is for certain that spying is more likely to increase the mistrust than eliminate it.
Earlier spying computers of others was a difficult and somewhat impossible task for want of log in names, passwords, network keys etc, etc. However, now any computer can be spied upon despite all the security measures. Stealth iBot Computer Spy can be covertly inserted in USB of any computer and in a matter of seconds, it will retrieve everything from that computer. Remove it from that computer and put it in the USB of your computer and you have got it all.
